For over 25 years, Kathleen has been an employee benefit, group retirement and individual insurance specialist, advising clients in key areas of their business. After six years working for a large national insurer she began her own practice in 1999 where she has been specializing in employee benefits, group retirement plans and executive compensation ever since. Kathleen is a founding member of The Benefits Alliance Group – Canada’s largest group of Independent Employee Benefit Advisors.
In March 2016, Kathleen was appointed to the Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee (JAAC), which recommends lawyers for judicial appointment to the Criminal and Family courts in the province of Ontario. She has also been actively involved for over 15 years with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto as "Big Sister" mentor and has participated in many fundraising activities for them. Additionally she volunteers her time with the Canadian Children’s Aid Society, and was the Chair of their 2015 and 2016 Women’s Charity Golf event.

Some of his recent professional accomplishments include receiving the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award from the Governor General of Canada for his planning with families who have special needs children, for his community fund raising efforts and for Canada. In 2007, he also received the Julia Award from Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
